5346195-36863 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students near Lanett, AL, for the 2023-2024 school year. This onsite position is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) passionate about making a difference in pediatric and educational environments. Youll provide essential speech and language therapy services across three school locations, all within close proximity, serving a close-knit, small district community.

Key Qualifications:

Master's or Doctorate in Speech and Communicative Disorders Alabama SLP license and Teaching Certification for SLPs (out-of-state candidates considered if eligible for Alabama certification) CCC-SLP preferred; candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are also welcome Experience in PK-12th grade settings or with pediatric caseloads preferred but not required

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language therapy sessions for a diverse caseload of approximately 60 students, grades PK-12th Manage a range of mild to moderate disabilities and therapy needs within the student population Balance both direct therapy and case management responsibilities as part of a multidisciplinary school team Maintain documentation and collaborate with educators and families to support student progress Work at three nearby school sites in a tightly connected district of fewer than 1,000 students
