e2036-35758 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic and collaborative school environment near Madison, AL. This full-time assignment for the 20262027 school year focuses on students in grades K12, allowing you to make a meaningful difference each day. Caseloads are customized to align with your expertise and interestswith options ranging from moderate to profound needsproviding an engaging and purposeful experience. Both local and travel professionals are encouraged to apply and will receive comprehensive support throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, early childhood, or elementary settings preferred Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students Collaborative approach to working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide speech and language services to students with a range of communication needs Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, support staff, and family members to optimize student success Maintain accurate documentation of services, assessments, and progress Participate in professional development and school meetings as required
