Job Description

Step into a dynamic contract role where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will enrich the educational experience of students. Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP in Alabama Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates are encouraged to apply Previous experience working with school-age children recommended Knowledge of IEP process and familiarity with diverse caseloads, including articulation, language, and social communication Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs Provide direct therapy services and consult with teachers, parents, and staff Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and session notes Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions Use innovative strategies and evidence-based practices to foster student success Perks of the
