A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Desired Background & Credentials:
Current, valid SLP State License Active Educator Certification Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC required) Previous experience in school settings, ideally supporting PreK-4th grade Strong communication and organizational skills Committed to delivering in-person, onsite services Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and familiesKey Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct assessments and update documentation throughout the assignment Develop and implement tailored intervention plans targeting speech, language, and communication needs Maintain consistent, clear communication with staff and families to ensure holistic student support Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all federal and state guidelines for school-based services This full-time contract assignment offers you the chance to immerse yourself in school life, working closely with a dedicated community of educators.
