Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLPA licensure, eligible for Alabama school settings Strong background in pediatric speech-language pathology, with previous school-based or teletherapy experience preferred Adept at delivering services in various educational environments (itinerant positions) Familiarity with IEP systems; training provided Skilled at managing caseloads with diverse needs, including K-12 populations
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and document individualized speech and language interventions Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Travel between assigned schools as needed (all travel paid) Provide direct and indirect services as determined by students' IEPs and workload requirements Supervise or receive supervision as required based on experience or designation Maintain timely communication with families, staff, and administrators
