Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract To Hire Make a meaningful difference supporting students across a dynamic PreK-12 environment! This full-time opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a contract-to-hire role. Bring your expertise to a setting where every day offers new challenges and rewards, working with a diverse caseload and collaborating across three school sites—including preschools and community-based homes. Enjoy a consistent daytime schedule with hours from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. You will have the chance to nurture communication skills for approximately 75 students, making positive, long-lasting impacts.

Qualifications and Credentials:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or appropriate State Department of Education (SDE) certification Previous experience working in a school-based pediatric setting preferred Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple sites and grade levels (PreK-12) Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Valid driver's license for travel between sites as needed

Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs from PreK through 12th grade Conduct evaluations, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document progress in accordance with regulatory guidelines Provide services at three different school sites, including preschools and in-home/community settings Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Contribute to a supportive, student-centered work environment
