Job Description

Interviews being scheduled immediately
SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST
Job Duties
  • Conducting screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations.
  • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
  • Providing direct and indirect therapy services.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other relevant personnel.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports as required by state, federal, and district guidelines.
  • Entering all services rendered, including notes, evaluations, progress reports, and timecards in Client's EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Program, ensuring completion and accuracy for all entries
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications License or Certification:
Must be in possession of current Alabama state license on or before the first day of employment. CPR certification,
Auto Insurance, and Driver License Education, Training and Experience:
Successful completion of a master degree from an accredited therapy program or one that is determined to be substantially equivalent to a U.S. accredited program by an appropriate certifying agency preferred. Experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
Good visual acuity and ability to communicate Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30 pounds of medical supplies and equipment and the transferring and repositioning of patients. Reasonable assistance may be requested when lifting, pushing, and/or pulling are undertaken which exceeds these minimum requirements
