Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services to elementary and middle school students. This onsite position offers the unique chance to work across one or two school settings, collaborating closely with educational staff to help students achieve their communication goals. You'll manage a caseload of around 60, with plenty of support and the satisfaction of making a meaningful impact throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
Key Qualifications:
Valid SLP (ASHA) license for Alabama Current Alabama professional educator license (confirmation available at the state website) Open to Clinical Fellows and SLPs with CCCs (must be able to supervise if CCCs) Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills Willingness to work onsite and travel between school locations as needed
Role Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to elementary and middle school students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Assess, diagnose, and document communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student success Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings Supervise SLP Clinical Fellows, if CCCs are held Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with school and state requirements This contract assignment is an excellent fit for travel therapists or those seeking a dynamic educational environment.
