Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A fulfilling opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to work in a school-based setting. This full-time, contract position supports a caseload of 55 students, with only 8 requiring case management duties—allowing you to focus on direct intervention and vital speech and language assessments. Your expertise will support students' growth through in-person therapy and assessment services. You'll play a crucial role in fostering students' communication skills, collaborating with fellow educators and parents, and participating in a dynamic educational environment that values your contributions. What we're looking for: Valid SLP, SLP-CCC, or SLPA credentials for school-based practice Experience or strong interest in working with student populations Confidence conducting in-person speech and language therapy sessions Ability to manage a manageable caseload and complete necessary documentation Dedication to performing face-to-face assessments as needed throughout the school year Excellent communication and collaborative skills with colleagues, students, and families In this role, you will: Provide direct, face-to-face speech and language therapy to students Conduct assessments as new needs arise during the year Maintain case files and manage documentation for 8 case management students Develop and update individualized student therapy plans Collaborate with educational staff and families for holistic support Participate in meetings as required to support student success This position welcomes skilled SLPs as well as SLPAs eager to make a difference in a school setting.
