Job Description

Speech-Language Pathologist — School-Based Fort Smith, AR Help students find their voice, right where they learn best. Join a team that's redefining what school-based therapy can look like. At Ray of Sunshine Pediatric Therapy, we provide personalized, high-quality care to every child we serve — and we're looking for a dedicated, compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join one of our local school-based sites. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact on students' communication skills, confidence, and independence, all within a consistent, structured school-day schedule. Schedule & Commitment Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00/4:30 p.m. Full school-year commitment required Paid time off for all school breaks and holidays during the school year — a rare perk that gives you real work-life balance without sacrificing income What You'll Do Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs Deliver therapeutic interventions that build meaningful communication skills Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals for comprehensive, coordinated care Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to keep students moving forward Equip families with practical education and resources on speech therapy techniques Maintain accurate, timely documentation of progress and outcomes Stay current on best practices, including early intervention strategies What You Bring Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Current state licensure/certification as an SLP Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology as they relate to speech and communication Pediatric experience preferred; early intervention experience is a plus Excellent communication skills paired with a compassionate, student-first approach Confidence conducting assessments and building tailored care plans Why You'll Love It Here Predictable Monday-Friday school-day schedule — no evenings, no weekends Paid time off during school breaks built into your schedule Continuing education & professional development support Clear paths for advancement Referral program rewarding you for bringing great people onto the team A collaborative, mission-driven team that values your expertise Ready to help students build the communication skills they need to thrive? $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
