Job Description
Job Overview Speechology NWA is a growing private practice in Northwest Arkansas specializing in dyslexia, reading intervention, and speech-language therapy. We are seeking a motivated, compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a mix of dyslexia and traditional speech/language clients in a supportive, team-oriented environment. At Speechology NWA, we focus on individualized, research-based therapy rather than a one-size-fits-all program. Our clinicians are trained to understand the "why" behind each child's needs and adjust therapy accordingly. We are especially passionate about structured literacy and working with students with dyslexia, while also serving articulation and language clients. This is a great opportunity for an SLP who enjoys autonomy, values high-quality therapy, and wants to be part of a clinic that is rapidly growing and making a meaningful impact in the community. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, including pediatric and early intervention cases Deliver evidence-based speech therapy interventions utilizing techniques grounded in physiology and anatomy knowledge Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure holistic patient support Educate patients and their families about communication strategies, therapy goals, and progress updates Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment sessions, and clinical notes in accordance with healthcare regulations Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices, medical terminology, and relevant research to enhance patient outcomes Qualifications Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where your skills can thrive while making a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
