Job Description

Speech-Language Pathologist Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team, specializing in pediatric speech therapy. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat children with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Your expertise will help improve communication skills and overall quality of life for pediatric patients. This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on delivering personalized therapy services to children in need. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of pediatric patients to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's specific needs and goals. Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions to improve speech production, language comprehension, social communication, and oral-motor skills. Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive care and support for the child's development. Monitor progress regularly and adjust therapy strategies as needed to achieve optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required records in compliance with regulatory standards. Stay current with advances in speech-language pathology practices and pediatric therapy techniques through ongoing professional development. Promote a positive and motivating environment that encourages children's participation and engagement during therapy sessions. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with pediatric populations in speech therapy is preferred. Strong understanding of speech-language development milestones and pediatric therapy techniques. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Compassionate approach with patience and adaptability to meet diverse needs of young patients. Ability to maintain detailed documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards. Pay:
$40.00 - $75.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
