Key Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility) Previous experience with school-aged populations preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities Ability to develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with educational staff
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students referred for speech and language concerns Develop and deliver targeted intervention plans tailored to each students Individualized Education Program (IEP) Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to monitor student progress and adapt recommendations as needed Maintain detailed records and contribute to IEP meetings Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student participation and growth Utilize evidence-based practices and stay current with developments in the field
