Job Description

Make a positive difference in the lives of young children by providing speech-language pathology services in a supportive daycare setting. This contract opportunity runs through late May 2027 and offers a chance to work closely with a manageable caseload while engaging in meaningful, one-on-one interaction. The setting is a daycare center serving 3640 students, where your expertise will help students thrive in their communication and language development.
Key Experience and Required Qualifications:
Current Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license required; Clinical Fellow (CFY) applications welcomed Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Demonstrated knowledge of evaluation tools and interventions for children in early childhood educational settings Experience working collaboratively with families, caregivers, and educational staff Ability to document assessment, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with school practices Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy for preschool-aged students Develop and implement individualized speech and language treatment plans Collaborate with daycare staff, teachers, and parents to optimize student outcomes Document and report progress, maintaining compliance with district and regulatory guidelines Participate in meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) planning Effectively manage a caseload of up to 40 children Gain valuable experience as an SLP in a dynamic educational environment, surrounded by supportive professionals.
