Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners by providing speech therapy services in a supportive school-based environment. Work with a diverse caseload of 36-40 students at a daycare center, offering direct, onsite support within an engaging, collaborative setting. This contract opportunity allows you to implement your clinical knowledge and gain invaluable experience while shaping communication skills for the next generation.
Qualifications:
Active SLP license required; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants welcome ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Dedication to fostering student growth and development
Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students ages birth-5 in a daycare center environment Complete comprehensive assessments and ongoing evaluations to determine individual needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and communication Participate in relevant meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Enjoy the chance to work a consistent weekly schedule with 35 onsite hours and the opportunity for professional development through collaboration with experienced educators and specialists.
