9674332-85323 Job Description Step into an impactful role providing speech-language pathology services within a supportive K-8 educational setting. Work closely with students to advance their communication skills and help them achieve their academic goals. This contract, part-time position offers flexibility, with up to 20 hours per week spread over two days. As the on-site SLP, you will join a collaborative team alongside a dedicated SLPA. Key Qualifications & Experience Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and
ASHA CCC-SLP
credential Strong background in pediatric and school-based speech therapy Previous experience delivering services in K-8 settings preferred Proficient in Medicaid billing and documentation Demonstrated ability to supervise and support SLPAs Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice and student-centered care Position Responsibilities Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide targeted speech-language interventions for elementary and middle school students Oversee and mentor the on-site SLPA, providing guidance and ensuring compliance with clinical standards Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including Medicaid billing requirements Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support each childs goals Adjust therapy techniques and approaches to meet each students unique needs Participate in school meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a part-time schedule while making a meaningful difference in the lives of students.
