Ideal candidates will have:
Current state SLP license SLP Educator Certificate Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience supporting school-aged children, ideally including preschoolers Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Adaptability and a team-oriented mindset Commitment to maintaining student confidentiality and fostering an inclusive environment Role responsibilities include: Providing direct speech-language therapy services to preschool children Conducting and documenting thorough evaluations as part of the Child Find process Maintaining accurate, timely IEP and session notes Collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to support students educational goals Participating in eligibility and IEP meetings Managing caseloads of varying sizes and evaluation demands Staying current with best practices and compliance mandates Experience the fulfillment of shaping students' communication skills at a critical stage in their development.
