A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Summary The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP / Speech Therapist) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Working alongside an interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will design personalized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders (dysphagia). Perform Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) evaluations with Radiology and report findings. Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Complete daily clinical documentation, coding, and charge logs for billing accuracy. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on continuous care strategies. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams on referrals and discharge planning. Maintain regular and reliable attendance and comply with all facility policies. Required Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required 1-3 years as a Speech Therapist in a clinical, hospital, or rehabilitation setting required Health Services\SLP- Speech Language Practitioner license in state of employment required or ST
- Speech Therapist license in state of employment required BCLS
- Basic Life Support required Preferred Qualifications & Skills Experience with Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies and dysphagia management preferred.
