Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role supporting student achievement as a speech-language pathologist in a contract position focused on school-based services. This opportunity involves engaging with a diverse pediatric caseload, providing assessment, treatment, and ongoing support to help students reach their full communication potential. Seeking candidates equipped with clinical expertise in speech-language pathology and a passion for working in educational settings. Experience with pediatric populations and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals will be essential. Candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year, as well as those with CCC, are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure (or eligibility) in speech-language pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcomed Understanding of best practices in evaluation and intervention for school-aged children Effective communication and organizational skills Experience with IEPs and knowledge of school-based processes highly desired Previous work with pediatric clients or in a school setting is beneficial
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with teaching staff, administrators, and families to support student learning Provide consultation and resources to educators regarding student needs Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that celebrates communication differences This contract role offers a chance to make an immediate difference in the lives of children while building valuable clinical skills.
