9674332-85338 Job Description Make a meaningful impact supporting students growth as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with a welcoming K-8 school community. This part-time contract position offers the chance to provide high-quality speech services to a diverse population of elementary and middle school students in a collaborative educational setting. Youll work up to 20 hours per week (2 days each week), allowing for excellent work-life balance while enriching your clinical experience. In this role, youll have support from an SLPA onsite and will be responsible for supervising their daily practice. The school values candidates who are not only passionate about pediatric speech-language pathology but possess experience with Medicaid billing requirements and SLPA mentorship.
Key qualifications:
Hold a current SLP license and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Background in pediatric and school-based SLP services Demonstrated ability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) Proficient in Medicaid billing for therapy services Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Primary responsibilities: Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-8 students in alignment with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans for a broad range of communication disorders Supervise, mentor, and support the onsite SLPA in daily practice Document and track progress, adhering to Medicaid billing procedures and district protocols Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success This opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist looking for a flexible, part-time schedule while making a difference in the lives of children and supporting fellow clinicians.
