Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Arizona licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; new graduates pursuing CFY also welcome Strong clinical skills in screening, evaluating, and delivering therapy to school-aged children Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and goal writing Excellent organizational and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to drive student success Prepare and maintain accurate therapy documentation in line with school and state requirements Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEPs Provide support and guidance for staff and families regarding communication strategies Stay current on best practices, maintaining compliance with state and ASHA ethics/standards
