Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication needs in a vibrant, school-based setting near Sahuarita, AZ. We are seeking passionate Speech-Language Pathologists for multiple contract assignments, providing essential services to a diverse pediatric population.
Openings include:
January 4th, 2027, through May 28th, 2027, working primarily with high school students at Cienega High School and delivering services to some homebound students. Two additional positions beginning March 1st, 2027, through May 28th, 2027—one serving at the elementary level and one supporting a K-8 student population.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Arizona state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Speech-Language Pathology Minimum of one year of experience in a school setting is desirable Strong pediatric assessment, intervention, and progress-monitoring skills Familiarity with IEPs, goal development, and interdisciplinary team collaboration Effective communication, organization, and case management abilities Your primary responsibilities will include: Providing direct therapy and services to students with a variety of communication disorders Completing thorough evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and documenting progress Consulting and collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize student success Assisting with IEP meetings and maintaining accurate documentation as required by school standards Supporting both in-person and, if needed, homebound learners These roles offer a unique opportunity to foster growth in students' communication skills while engaging in a dynamic educational environment.
