Direct Job #30564 Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Our client, an established acute rehabilitation hospital in Sierra Vista, Arizona, is currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team. This is a strong opportunity for an SLP interested in a hospital-based setting with exposure to a diverse patient population and a broad range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations. Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans of care based on each patient's clinical needs. Provide evidence-based interventions and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and outcomes. Document evaluations, treatment, progress, and recommendations in accordance with clinical and professional standards. Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team. Provide patient and family education and counseling to support treatment goals and continuity of care. Assist with discharge planning and recommendations for continued therapy or supportive services. Supervise clinical fellows, students, and support personnel as appropriate. Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Current licensure as a Speech Therapist through the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology Meet the education and experience requirements for the Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology granted by ASHA.
