9529417-85379 Job Description Step into a rewarding contract position supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, serving dedicated elementary caseloads across several campuses in a vibrant district near Surprise, AZ. Your expertise will directly impact young learners, helping them develop crucial communication and language skills needed for academic and life success.
Essential Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certification (SLP-CCC) Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Experience working with elementary-age students in school settings preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring skills Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication disorder assessments for elementary caseloads at assigned schools Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting students speech and language goals Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, both individually and in small groups Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other support staff to integrate therapy strategies Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and required reports Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
