Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity near Tempe, AZ, providing essential speech and language services to school-aged students. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you'll be instrumental in supporting student success through targeted assessments, individualized therapy, and collaborative problem-solving with a dedicated team of education professionals.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans centered on each student's unique needs Provide engaging therapy sessions aimed at achieving set speech and language goals Carefully document and monitor progress to measure outcomes and adjust interventions as needed Collaborate seamlessly with teachers, special educators, counselors, and other team members to create coordinated care plans Involve and educate families throughout the therapy process to enhance results and student confidence

Requirements:

Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Hold or be eligible for current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations is a strong asset Demonstrate excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Confident working independently and within a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting All candidates must hold an active state license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology and have completed a Master's Degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
