Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for the 2026/2027 school year in Tonopah, AZ. This contract position supports a school setting, with a start date of August 6, 2026, and an end date of May 28, 2027. The work schedule is Tuesday through Friday, providing the opportunity to focus on student needs during the school week.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 50 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to promote student progress Monitor student performance and adjust interventions as needed Utilize support from a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to enhance service delivery
Qualifications or Desired Experience:
Valid SLP certification (SLP, SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, or School-based SLP credentials) Experience working in a school setting Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage a caseload of students with diverse speech and language needs
Location:
