Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students' communication and learning in a dynamic school environment. This position engages talented speech-language pathologists in both high school and diverse K-8 settings, making a direct impact on pediatric populations and students requiring homebound services. These contract roles stretch throughout the heart of the academic year, beginning January 4th, 2027, and continuing through May 28th, 2027, near the vibrant region of Vail, AZ. Multiple positions are available. The initial opening supports Cienega High School and homebound students, while additional roles open March 1st, 2027, at both an elementary school and a K-8 school. Desired Qualifications:
Holds a valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience in school-based pediatric settings Solid knowledge of speech/language evaluation, intervention, and IEP development Skilled collaborator, comfortable working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Compassionate, flexible, and dedicated to meeting diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Provide diagnostic and therapeutic speech and language services for a varied student caseload Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Consult with teachers and families to support classroom and home communication strategies Maintain accurate session records and contribute to student progress reporting Participate in team meetings and collaborate with support staff Experience fulfilling workdays collaborating with passionate educators and bright young students.
