Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population, with a focus on intervention. Your expertise will help improve patients' quality of life by developing personalized therapy plans and providing compassionate patient care. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, including early intervention strategies Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions to improve communication skills and swallowing function Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as physicians, occupational therapists, and educators to coordinate care Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment sessions, and clinical notes in compliance with healthcare regulations Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques, exercises, and strategies for ongoing improvement at home Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology to enhance patient outcomes Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or equivalent credential Prior experience working in school settings or pediatric environments preferred Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques, anatomy, physiology related to communication and swallowing functions Experience conducting patient assessments and developing effective treatment plans Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect compassionately with patients of all ages Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a healthcare team Join us in making a difference through expert patient care! Pay:
