9659757-94704 Job Description Make a meaningful impact working with students from transitional kindergarten through 8th grade in a dynamic school-based setting! This full-time contract role is perfect for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about supporting diverse learners, whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team and help students achieve significant communication milestones. Your expertise will support students across all grade levels at a thriving campus where your skills are valued and your professional growth is encouraged.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP state licensure or eligibility in California Experience in school-based pediatric settings, including
SLP CCC, SLP
CFY, or equivalent Familiarity with IEP processes and best practices for educational settings Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills Passion for working with TK-8 student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and diagnose communication disorders; develop and implement targeted treatment plans for students across transitional kindergarten to 8th grade Participate actively in IEP meetings, providing recommendations and progress updates Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services in both individual and group settings Collaborate with educators, families, and school support staff to best meet students needs Maintain thorough documentation consistent with school and state requirements
