Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current or eligible Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience working in pediatric or school-based settings, or a strong interest in serving this population Knowledge of IEP development and familiarity with the special education process Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students in accordance with federal and state guidelines Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and set measurable therapy goals Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication challenges Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educators to support student progress and generalize skills Document progress, attend IEP meetings, and maintain accurate records as required Stay updated on best practices through continuing education and professional development Enjoy the satisfaction of making a significant impact, all while expanding your skills in a vibrant school environment near Berkeley, CA.
