Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026/2027 school year within a K-12 district based in Berkeley, CA. This contract position requires a licensed SLP with relevant credentials and experience in school settings.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or related certification (SLP-CF). Experience working with K-12 student populations. Knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and students. Ability to maintain documentation and comply with district and state guidelines.
Location:
Berkeley, California Position within a public school setting serving grades K-12.
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide direct therapy to students with speech and communication disorders. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress. Monitor and document student growth and adjust interventions as necessary. Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.
