Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Two contract opportunities are available for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP, CCC) to cover maternity leaves in two full-time positions. Position 1: August - End of September Position 2: August - End of December These roles offer the chance to work alongside a passionate and collaborative educational team near Berkeley, CA, serving students who count on your expertise for communication success.

Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in California (or eligible) Recent experience providing speech therapy in a school-based environment preferred Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively manage a full caseload and collaborate with educators and families

What You'll Do:

Assess and evaluate students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs) for assigned students Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy in both group and one-on-one settings Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student achievement Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations as needed Gain valuable experience, step into a supportive environment, and make a positive impact that lasts beyond the contract term.
