Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Speech-language pathologists have a unique opportunity to support students as they develop vital communication skills. In this contract role, you'll collaborate with a dedicated group of educators to provide evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with diverse speech-language needs.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY) State licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice in schools Experience with IEP development and implementation in an educational setting preferred Strong skills in collaboration, organization, and communication Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for eligible students Deliver direct and consultative therapeutic services as outlined in IEPs Track and document progress toward student goals, maintaining compliance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other service providers Serve as a resource for staff on speech-language concerns and strategies Support a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
