Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support multiple elementary school caseloads. This position is located in Camarillo, CA, and involves providing specialized speech and language therapy services within the school setting. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that support student progress and success. Maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to school district policies and procedures are essential components of this role.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required Experience working with elementary school caseloads preferred Strong knowledge of speech and language development in school-age children Ability to design and implement effective speech-language therapy interventions Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and school staff Comfort working in a fast-paced educational environment This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students' communication abilities within a supportive school environment.
