We are privately owned, CHAP Accredited Home Health Agency based in Campbell, California. We have an immediate need for 1-2 Speech Therapists in Santa Clara, San Benito and San Mateo Counties for per diem Speech Therapist. Our founders include 150+ years of highly experienced nurses, healthcare administrators and other professionals in the post-acute industry dedicated to the highest quality clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with patients of all ages to help them improve their speech, language, and overall communication abilities.
Duties :
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine speech and language disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Provide therapy sessions to improve speech articulation, fluency, voice quality, and language skills
  • Assist patients in developing alternative communication methods, such as sign language or augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
  • Educate patients and their families on speech therapy techniques and strategies for continued progress at home
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Experience :
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience working with patients with communication disorders is preferred
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and swallowing function
  • Familiarity with various speech therapy techniques and interventions
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
