Position Details Full-time On-site assignment Split assignment with 2 elementary school sites in Carson, CA Excellent training and support School sites shared with other amazing SLPs 2+ years experience recommended Must hold a valid California SLP license to practice Why Join Us? Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of students' speech and language abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student needs. Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills. Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate students and their families about speech disorders and treatment options. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team providers to support student goals. Maintain accurate documentation of student evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes. Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech therapy. Skills Proficiency in speech therapy techniques and interventions. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to speech production. Excellent student care skills with a focus on empathy and compassion. Ability to conduct thorough student assessments to identify communication challenges. Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable. Familiarity with IEPs and school-based terminology relevant to speech-language pathology. Understanding of physiology as it relates to speech and language functions. Experience in early intervention strategies for young children is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in school or clinical settings. Bilingual-Spanish a
