Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California Expertise in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school setting Experience developing individualized education programs (IEPs) and documenting progress Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and support staff Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, assessments, and speech/language therapy interventions for students K-12 Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each students goals Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student success Maintain accurate and timely documentation per school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student performance and recommendations Stay current on best practices in the field and integrate evidence-based therapies Discover the fulfillment of guiding students toward greater confidence and communication skills.
