Qualifications:

Active California Speech-Language Pathology license (CCC-SLP or CFY-SLP considered) Strong knowledge of school-based speech therapy practices Experience or interest in working with elementary-aged children Ability to manage and support a mild to moderate caseload effectively Excellent organizational and time management skills Passion for helping children achieve their fullest potential

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Provide direct therapy services addressing students articulation, language, fluency, and social communication goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student progress Maintain thorough and organized documentation in accordance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and school community events as appropriate This contract role brings the reward of making a real difference in students lives while building professional skills in a focused, supportive elementary school environmentall without the need to travel between multiple sites.
