School Speech Language Pathologist - San Bernardino, California

Job Description

Key Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current ASHA CCC-SLP or CFY status California SLP license (or eligibility for licensure) Previous experience working in schools with children or adolescents preferred Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills Comfortable adapting therapy approaches to diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders Create individualized education plans (IEPs) in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams Deliver speech therapy services in individual, group, or classroom settings as appropriate Document student progress and prepare necessary reports in compliance with district and state guidelines Engage parents, teachers, and staff to support student learning and generalization of communication skills Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations Maintain timely, accurate records and comply with confidentiality requirements Become part of a supportive environment that champions professional growth and student achievement.
