School Speech Therapist

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving multiple school locations in the Diamond Springs, CA area. This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse student populations, providing essential speech and language support to enhance their academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across varying grade levels. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's specific needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and communicate treatment goals. Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with relevant educational and healthcare regulations. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide speech and language initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification and licensure applicable to California. Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings. Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel. Flexibility to work across multiple school locations and varying schedules throughout the school year.

Location:

Diamond Springs, CA, with assignments at multiple nearby schools.

Compensation:
