• 31/hour About the Role We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and engaging support professional to work with a 19-year-old neurodivergent young adult with high-functioning Autism.

This role focuses on building independence, confidence, life skills, and meaningful community involvement while providing consistent support in a respectful and person-centered environment. The individual lives independently in a small home located on family property and benefits from structured guidance, positive encouragement, and supportive mentorship. He is active and enjoys outdoor and community-based activities including hiking, kayaking, exploring new places, fitness activities, and staying engaged in the community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others grow, values meaningful work, and likes being active and involved in the community. Key Responsibilities Support development of independent living skills including: Meal preparation Cleaning and household organization Hygiene and self-care routines Time management and daily structure Encourage independence while providing appropriate supervision and support Assist with exploring volunteer, recreational, educational, and employment opportunities Support participation in community activities, outdoor recreation, and social engagement Participate in activities such as hiking, kayaking, fitness outings, community events, and recreational activities Provide transportation to appointments, errands, outings, and activities Maintain a calm, positive, and encouraging environment Communicate professionally with family members and the support team Respect privacy and autonomy while maintaining healthy boundaries and safety awareness Qualifications Experience supporting individuals with Autism or developmental disabilities preferred, but not required Patient, dependable, calm, and compassionate personality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Enjoys being active and participating in community or outdoor activities Ability to encourage independence while maintaining safety and structure Comfortable working in a home environment with video/audio safety monitoring Requirements Valid driver's license Reliable personal vehicle Current auto insurance Ability to pass a criminal background check Why Join Us?
