Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist, supporting students across K-12 levels for the remainder of the school year. This full-time, contract position begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of the academic term, providing vital services within a collaborative and welcoming school environment. You'll be taking over from a virtual therapist, enabling consistent, in-person support for students' communication and language needs. This placement welcomes SLPs holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), as well as Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates. It's an ideal setting for experienced professionals or new grads eager to grow and make a difference.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders California licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY accepted; supportive mentorship available for new graduates Previous experience in school settings preferred but not required Passion for working with students across a diverse K-12 caseload
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines Foster a positive, inclusive environment for communication skill-building Take on a role where your expertise and compassion encourage student success.
