Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a real impact supporting students and staff as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract assignment located near El Cajon, CA. This role is ideal for passionate professionals who thrive in a dynamic school environment and are eager to foster communication growth among students of varying needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility for licensure) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply Experience in a school setting and familiarity with IEP processes are advantageous Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Your Role:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans in alignment with student IEPs Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary team to support student success Maintain accurate documentation for progress tracking, compliance, and reporting Provide direct and consultative therapy services, adapting techniques and materials for diverse learning styles
