Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist to a rewarding part-time contract serving preschool students in a supportive school-based environment. In this role, you'll make a lasting impact by delivering assessments and interventions to children at a crucial stage of language development. This unique opportunity includes working with both general preschool students and those from private and nonpublic schools, offering a diverse and meaningful caseload. As an SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY, your clinical insight and dedication will help students improve communication skills and achieve essential milestones. You'll enjoy the flexibility of a part-time (0.5) schedule, allowing you to balance meaningful work with your other personal or professional pursuits.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligible SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential Valid state licensure or ability to obtain before start date Experience providing speech services in school or pediatric settings preferred Skilled in conducting comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Strong collaboration and communication abilities with teachers, families, and team members
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech therapy services to preschool-aged children Conduct assessments and re-evaluations for preschool, private, and nonpublic school students Develop IEP goals and document student progress Collaborate with classroom staff, families, and multi-disciplinary teams Participate in meetings, provide recommendations, and contribute to student success plans This contract role offers competitive hourly compensation between $55 and $75, reflective of your skills and commitment.
