Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference this summer by supporting students' growth and communication skills! We're seeking two compassionate and dedicated speech-language pathologists to provide direct services during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. As an SLP working with elementary-age students, you will help ensure children receive robust support in their speech, language, and communication development. This contract assignment runs from June 15 through July 17, offering 25 hours each week—a focused schedule that allows you to make a lasting impact while keeping your summer plans on track. An additional hour each Wednesday is set aside for valuable team meetings and collaborative planning.
Desired expertise includes:
SLP-CCC certification and credentialing required Demonstrated experience in pediatric and school-based settings Knowledge of current best practices in providing speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs Ability to adapt therapy strategies to individual student goals Strong communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and parental interaction Experience collaborating with education professionals preferred Primary responsibilities will include: Delivering individualized and group speech therapy to elementary students Conducting assessments and developing therapy plans aligned with IEP goals Maintaining clear, accurate documentation Participating in weekly meetings with other ESY staff to discuss student progress Consulting with families and teachers to maximize carryover of therapy skills If you are passionate about making a difference and are available for a summer contract near Fremont, this opportunity is for you!
