Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding assignment as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students in a dynamic school setting. This contract opportunity is available immediately and extends through the end of the school year, offering a full-time schedule working with early childhood through 5th grade. You'll have the chance to make a meaningful difference at two engaging school sites, ensuring a varied and fulfilling work environment. Qualifications:
Valid Speech Language Pathologist license (California) Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals Excellent communication and organizational skills Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for PK-5th grade students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Offer direct therapy services both individually and in group settings Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress Maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines Serve as a resource and advocate for speech-language development This position offers the unique opportunity to work across two school locations, providing both variety and the chance to broaden your skills.
