Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist supporting a PreK caseload in a school-based setting near Gilroy, CA. This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, offering a vital role in helping young learners thrive in communication and language development.

Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active California SLP license (or eligibility) Experience in a school environment, particularly with PreK students, is highly valued Bilingual proficiency preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Passion for working with early childhood populations Willingness to work onsite for in-person services

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy to PreK students per their IEP goals Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify communication needs Develop and implement tailored intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate records of progress and serve as a resource for school teams Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Adapt interventions and materials for varied student needs
