Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

For more than 40 years, we've developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. We provide treatment for post-concussion s yndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues and accident or sports-related head injuries. We are searching for a PRN Speech Language Pathologist to work in our residential program in Gilroy, CA. This role provides treatment and evaluations of residents with speech, language, cognitive, linguistic and swallowing disorders as a result of acquired brain injury. This position also focuses on developing strategies for clients in areas of memory, language expression, speech production, pragmatics, comprehension, problem solving, conflict resolution and swallowing disorders. Tuition Assistance Referral Bonus Requirements:
Completion of a master's degree in speech-language pathology and one-year experience completed with CCC from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and state licensure is required.
