Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist serving K-12 students in Hemet, CA. This contract position involves working onsite, providing direct services to school-age children within an educational setting. The role focuses on delivering speech and language therapy to support students' communication development, utilizing both in-person and teletherapy approaches as needed. Working hours consist of 7.5-hour days with a half-hour unpaid lunch break. The caseload encompasses a diverse range of pediatric speech and language needs across the full K-12 spectrum.
Key qualifications and experience include:
Valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completed or current experience as a licensed clinician Professional experience in school-based speech therapy environments Skill in providing teletherapy services and familiarity with telespeech methods Comfort working with pediatric populations, particularly in educational contexts Responsibilities include: Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech and language impairments in students Developing individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals Collaborating with educators and families to support integrated communication strategies Maintaining accurate documentation and progressing reports Utilizing teletherapy techniques effectively in addition to onsite sessions Benefits for this contract position feature competitive weekly pay, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance options, as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
