We are currently seeking a Bilingual Spanish-English Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for an in-person school-based position in Coachella, California . This is an excellent opportunity for an SLPA who enjoys working with children, collaborating with school teams, and supporting Spanish
  • and English-speaking students and families.

70/mile mileage reimbursement for qualifying travel Sign-on bonus available School-year schedule What You'll Do As a Bilingual SLPA, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech and language services to students in a school setting.
Responsibilities include:
Implement speech and language therapy plans developed by the supervising SLP. Provide therapy services to students in English and/or Spanish as directed. Support students in achieving their IEP communication goals. Track and document student progress. Collaborate with supervising SLPs, teachers, school staff and other members of the educational team. Communicate effectively with Spanish
  • and English-speaking students and families.
Provide culturally responsive support to students from diverse linguistic backgrounds. Maintain accurate therapy documentation and follow school and Platinum Therapy requirements. Qualifications Current California SLPA license/authorization required. Fluent in English and Spanish. Pediatric or school-based experience preferred but not required for all positions. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with SLPs, educators, families and other professionals.
